Here are some of the most frequently asked questions....

Can I order invitation samples?

Of course!! Samples can be purchase from our website and will be sent within 24-48hours of purchase. Please note, we are unable to personalise samples or accept colour requests as they have been pre printed. We recommend you order the invitation samples to see the fabulous quality, design and colours chart that is included for free!

How do I place an order?

Orders can be placed quickly and easily via our website shop or if you have specific requirements and would prefer to contact us directly please send us an email to discuss further. Payment can be made through our website on internet orders or via BACS transfer or personal cheque.

How long does the ordering process take? When can I expect my invitations? 

Typically the ordering process takes between 1-4+ weeks. On receiving your wording, we will send you digital proofs for your approval. You will then have two sets of changes to ensure they are perfect, additional changes after that are charged at £15 per set.

Once approved, your wedding invitations will be printed and you can expected to receive your the beautiful stationery in 7-10+ working days.

Delivery will be made via Royal Mail or a specially selected courier. Most shipping options will require a signature upon delivery.

If you require your invitations urgently, a rush fee of 25% will be added to your order.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We have happily worked with customers all over the world and can offer international shipping. Please contact us for shipping rates as this will vary on your country and the wedding stationery you require. Please check with your local customs office about rules and regulations and customs fees or duties that may apply to you.  These are the responsibility of the customer and Ditsy Chic will not be held responsible for any additional costs or fees. International deliveries often take their time to get you, so please be patient and ensure you order the stationery in good time.

Will you proofread my text?

No. We try to make sure all spacing and form is correct but are not responsible for misspellings or typos. We will send a PDF file for you to proof and ensure that everything is exactly how you want it, will not print without your final approval.

Can we change the colours of the invitations?

Yes!!  Here at Ditsy Chic we want your invitations to be truly unique and compliment your wedding day! We have an extensive colour library for you to choose from and will happily advise on colour combinations. If you would like us to match a colour please get in touch.

Please note: Colours may vary slightly on computer screens and slightly on different print runs. We supply a free colour chart with samples so you can get a better idea of how they will look once printed.

Change I change the font?

We carefully choose each font to fit each design. If the actual font is not part of the design we will gladly customise with your chosen font. There will be a  small £15 charge per font revision.

Do the invitations come with envelopes?

Envelopes are included in the price of the invitations and have a small range of colours for you to choose from. You can upgrade to a peel & seal envelopes (£0.35p each) and add RSVP envelopes (£0.15p each) upon request.

Can you print guest names on my invitations and supply address labels?

Absolutely, there is an option to add these in the shop area when purchasing . Once we have received your order we will get in touch can collect all the information. If you do not select guest names printed, we will leave a space for you to write in the names yourselves. 

Can we add photos to our invitations?

We can happily discuss how this will work within the invitation design. Photos can be added for a one off fee of £15. In some of our designs such as the passport to love design, photos are already included in the price.

May I change the wording of the text? 

Yes. We have some wording examples on our website to help inspire you, however feel free to send us you specific wording. Just send us the text exactly as you would like it to appear keeping it in similar length to the text in the invitation and we will use it.

Can we have our invitations in a different language? 

Of course! We can create wedding invitations in most languages, whether it be English, French, German, Italian, Czech, Chinese, etc. There is a small £25 charge for us to create your proofs in another language.

We understand many couples getting married need to incorporate more than one language into their wedding invitations. We can do this in a few ways:

The first would be to have two versions of the invitations – one in each language, or we could look at designing the invitation to incorporate both languages, possibly creating a double sided card with the two languages. However, sometimes people are happy enough just to add in a quote or a word in a language as a homage to their heritage.

All we ask is that you supply us the wording and we will design the proofs for you. Please send me an email to discuss your options.

We need some more invitations printed, can we order more?

Yes, however the minimum print run is 20. We always recommend you include extras in your original order for keepsakes and additional guests that you may not have considered.

Should I order all my stationery now?

We recommend you place the orders in parts. Save the date cards first, followed by wedding invitations. Once you have received your R.S.V.P cards back, you will have a better idea of guest numbers and then know the numbers and guest details for the complimenting order of service booklets, guest name cards, table plan and so on. Please give us enough time to work on proofs and printing these items and certainly no later than 4 weeks before the stationery is required.

Do you offer discounts?

Prices are fixed and we will not discount our stationery unless we are running a special promotion to ALL our customers. We feel it is unfair to offer to those who ask and hope that the quality and level of service is worth far more!

What is your refund and exchange policy?

Refunds may be given until the printing process begins, however a 50% deposit will be held to cover work already done. For custom work, designs fees for hours already worked will not be returned. 

We do not accept returns or offer refunds due to the personalised nature of the wedding stationery. By approving your final proof you accept responsibility for the information and layout as shown. Any changes made once proofs have been produced and the order has been signed off and processed, will be charged accordingly and the client charged for a reprint.
