These terms and conditions apply to the use of www.ditsychic.co.uk and www.ditsychic.com. On accessing this site and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, it is important you read these carefully before placing an order.
Ditsy Chic reserves the right to change the prices of our products without notice. However once your order has been confirmed and deposit made, the prices quoted are secure. All our prices on our website are shown in Pounds Sterling.
Full payment is required upon placing an order. Payment can be made via our website or Ditsy Chic will invoice you for the total, which should be paid via BACS transfer or personal cheque and must be cleared before any work can commence. Ditsy Chic will then contact you to confirm payment and get all the details needed for your stationery.
The balance payment will become due upon return of the approved proofs and before final delivery of the goods. The order cannot be dispatched until full payment has been received and remains the property of Ditsy Chic until the outstanding balance has cleared. For overseas orders - full payment is required upon placement of an order.
Proofs are provided for you to check the design, layout, spelling, wording etc prior to printing. We aim to send these out to you within 7 days of placing your order. These will be emailed to the client as PDF proofs unless otherwise requested. Please note: Hard copy proofs are printed on A4 paper and are not indicative of finished print quality. Please check all details VERY carefully and indicate any amendments via email or marked up on the original paper proof, signed and returned. Ditsy Chic cannot be held responsible for any typing or image errors noticed after the proofs have been checked and client approval given. Any changes made once proofs have been produced and the order has been signed off and processed, will be charged accordingly.
Please allow 1 to 3+ weeks from approval of the wedding stationary proofs to delivery. We know your order is important so we do try our hardest to get the invitations to you asap. If you require a shorter delivery time, please let us know and we will try our best to meet your deadline. In very urgent cases we can offer an express service. Please contact us for more details.
Once you have received the order, if you feel that there are any discrepancies these must be communicated within 24 hours to us and confirmed in writing within 7 days. In the event of a claim for defectively produced goods, settlement will be limited to a maximum of the total value of the goods, and Ditsy Chic do not accept any liability in respect of any consequential losses howsoever they may be caused.
Any refunds or exchanges will be at our sole discretion and will only be made if the stationery is faulty or does not meet the specifications of your order.
It is possible that the colour of the printed invitations can differ to its appearance to computer screens, this is due to the monitor calibration. We are unable to offer refunds or returns on the basis that colour appears differently to on screen design proofs.
We take great care and attention when packaging your stationery to avoid and damage in delivery. Delivery charges will vary depending on the weight and size of your order. You will be notified by email once your order is ready for dispatch. On receipt all orders will require a signature and the goods must be inspected in front of the courier, if there is any sign of damage to the packaging at the time of delivery, the goods must be refused and returned to the courier. Ditsy Chic cannot be responsible for any loss or damage once an order has been dispatched and signed for.
Any dates quoted for delivery are approximate and we cannot be liable for delays in delivery due to the courier service, or other circumstances beyond our control.
All of our products are handcrafted and although we try our very best to ensure there is level of uniformity within each order there is a possibility there will be slight variations with each item. There may also be a possibility of colour variation or print discrepancy on orders. This is something we cannot control due to using different materials, inks and equipment. Whilst trying our best to match colours and ensure a high level of consistency in design and colour we will not be held responsible. Payment for colour discrepancies will not be refunded.
In the event of any materials being unavailable or supply difficulties, Ditsy Chic will inform you immediately and will discuss alternative materials or designs prior to approval.
We cannot be held responsible for damage, which occurs when you post individual items to your guests. Please be aware that the embellishments used on our cards are small, and may present a choking hazard to small children and babies.
If for any reason wish to cancel an order you must notify us in writing immediately quoting your order number to email@example.com. If you contact us before 28 days of placing the order and before any work has been started a full refund may be given. Once work has started, no refund or exchanges are allowed. Once proofs are signed off, approved and production started, because all orders are personalised with your individual details, no refunds or exchanges will be allowed and full payment must still be made.
The content of the website and all designs on this site are the sole property of Ditsy Chic and are strictly protected by copyright. You may not reproduced or create derivative work from the content or samples. You are not permitted to copy or download the content (unless indicated) in any form without prior written agreement from Ditsy Chic. Any improper or illegal use of the designs will be pursued.
The copyright permission for all hymns, readings, lyric, poems and any images you have supplied to us, is your responsibility and permission to use any material must be obtained from the correct sources before you ask us to include it in your stationary. Ditsy Chic will not be held responsible for any copyright infringement.
Ditsy Chic will not be liable to the customer or be deemed in breach of this agreement by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform any of Ditsy Chic's obligations in relation to the goods, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond their reasonable control. The following shall be regarded as non-exclusive examples of causes beyond Ditsy Chic's reasonable control:
Act of God, flood, explosion, fire or accident. War or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition.Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of governmental, parliamentary or local authority.Import or export regulations or embargoes.Strikes, lock-outs or any other industrial actions or trade disputes (whether involving employees of Ditsy Chic or of a third party). Difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labor, fuel, parts or machinery.Power failure or breakdown in machinery.
No personal information you supply to us will be passed on to a third party (except for the purpose of debt collection if necessary). The information you pass onto us will enable us to supply the goods or services you have requested. It will also enable us to invoice you and contact you when necessary concerning your orders. We may also use and analyse the information we collect to improve and develop our business.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
